Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 13, 2026
KaminoAI LLC ("Clockwork," "we," "us," or "our") provides a software-as-a-service ordering platform for businesses and their vendors and suppliers. Some Customers may use optional SMS messaging only after that messaging program is approved and enabled. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to businesses that use Clockwork ("Customers") and to vendors and suppliers who receive communications through Clockwork on behalf of a Customer ("Vendors" or "Recipients").
1. Information We Collect
- Account Data: Name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, authentication/session data, business name, and role information for individuals who create or use a Clockwork account. Clockwork does not receive your Google password.
- Business and Vendor Contact Information: Names, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, websites or ordering portals, and ordering instructions entered into Clockwork by our Customers.
- Phone Numbers and Consent Records: When a Customer prepares to use approved SMS features, mobile phone numbers of vendor/supplier contacts, consent attestations supplied by the Customer, and related records, which may include when and how a Recipient provided, confirmed, or withdrew consent.
- Order Data: Information related to order requests, order status, quantities, delivery details, confirmations, and related communications processed through the platform.
- Usage Data: Information about how Clockwork is accessed and used, including log data, device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, and interactions with the platform and, when SMS is enabled, SMS messages (e.g., delivery status and opt-in/opt-out replies).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Clockwork platform;
- Transmit order requests and order-related updates from Customers to their Vendors, including via SMS when the Customer's messaging program is approved and enabled;
- Process and manage SMS confirmations, opt-outs, and help requests when SMS messaging is enabled;
- Maintain accurate records of orders and communications;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance and reliability;
- Communicate with Customers and Vendors about their accounts or transactions;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. SMS/Text Messaging
When SMS messaging is approved and enabled for a Customer, Clockwork may use Twilio to deliver automated, system-generated order requests and order-related updates from that Customer to consenting Vendors.
Opt-In: Before Clockwork sends any SMS, the Customer must obtain the Vendor's prior express consent for that Customer and for order-related messages and retain proof of when and how consent was obtained. Only after that consent is recorded may Clockwork send a confirmation message; the Vendor must reply "YES" before recurring order-related messages begin.
No Sale or Sharing for Marketing: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on order activity between a Customer and its Vendors. You may receive multiple messages in a day or none at all, depending on order volume.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.
Help: For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at dillon.shirley4@gmail.com.
Not a Condition of Purchase: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using Clockwork or any related service. Order requests and order-related information may also be available through other means within the platform.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may vary; Clockwork and Twilio are not responsible for undelivered or delayed messages resulting from carrier issues.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting and infrastructure and, when approved SMS messaging is enabled, SMS delivery through Twilio. These providers are restricted to using information to provide services to Clockwork.
- Between Customers and Vendors: Order data and contact information are shared between a Customer and its designated Vendors as part of the core function of the platform.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect the safety of any person, address fraud or security issues, or comply with a governmental request.
- Business Transfers: If Clockwork is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
The restriction on sharing or selling mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data for marketing or promotional purposes described in Section 3 applies regardless of the categories above, except as necessary to send the messages requested (e.g., transmission through Twilio).
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Clockwork platform, maintain accurate business and order records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If SMS consent or opt-out records are collected, they are retained as needed to demonstrate consent and honor opt-out requests. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
6. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and role, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational limitations;
- Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP (see Section 3).
To exercise these rights, contact us at dillon.shirley4@gmail.com. If you are a Vendor contact, you may also direct requests to the Customer that added you to Clockwork, as they control the underlying business relationship. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's Privacy
Clockwork is a business-to-business platform intended for use by adults in a professional capacity. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by other reasonable means.
